Intellectual Property
Our property
- The Websites and their content (text, design, code, marks, layouts and media) are owned by Cuesoft or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark and other IP laws of Nigeria, the United States and other jurisdictions.
- Cuesoft™, CueTA™, CueLABS™, CueHIRE™, Cueprise™, Cuelearn™, The CueShow™ and The CueBlog™ are Cuesoft marks. You may reference them accurately in editorial contexts; you may not use them (or confusingly similar marks) in a way that implies affiliation, endorsement or origin without written permission.
- Browsing the Websites grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view and cache their content for its intended purpose, and nothing more. No other IP right is granted by implication.
Open source
Our published open-source products are governed by their own repository licences (MIT). The licence in each repository is the complete statement of your rights in that code; these Terms neither add to nor subtract from it.
Programme and engagement IP
- CueTA™ learners own their project work; Cuesoft owns curriculum and teaching materials: see the CueTA™ terms.
- CueLABS™ interns assign internship work product to Cuesoft, which publishes open-source work under MIT: see the CueLABS™ terms.
- Client and contractor IP follows the signed agreement: client deliverables transfer on payment as the agreement states; Cuesoft’s pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how remain Cuesoft’s.
- Cueprise™ remains Cuesoft’s exclusive property; licensee data remains the licensee’s: see the Cueprise™ Terms.
Infringement notices
To report content on a Website that you believe infringes your rights, email hello@cuesoft.io with: (a) the material and where it appears (URL); (b) the right you hold and proof of it; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement that your notice is accurate and made in good faith. We review every notice, remove or restore material as the facts warrant, and respond to the notifier. Misrepresenting an infringement claim can make you liable for the costs it causes.
